Robin's take

The short version:

A boutique, contemporary apartment building inside Aldar's Al Reeman community in Al Shamkha, with smart-home features in every unit. It suits buyers who want a well-finished, manageable home in a growing family suburb, away from the density of the city centre.

Who is behind it

Reeman Residence 02 is developed by Towaiji Real Estate Development, a sub-developer within Aldar's Al Reeman community. It is the developer's second building in the area. Its sister project, Reeman Residence 01, is already under construction: Abu Dhabi's official escrow records (DARI) show it more than 40% complete as of August 2026. For an off-plan buyer, seeing the first building rising is a reassuring sign.

The homes

The building offers studios, one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom residences with study spaces. The extra room adds flexibility for working from home or a growing family.

The interiors are calm and contemporary, with warm neutral tones, natural-looking wood finishes, refined stone-effect surfaces and well-integrated lighting. The kitchens feature streamlined cabinetry and integrated appliances, and the bathrooms are clean and minimalist, with contemporary fixtures.

Every residence comes with a KNX smart-home system. Residents can control lighting, climate and selected home functions from a wall panel or a smartphone. That is a feature you rarely find at this end of the market.

Amenities

-> Rooftop: a swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens and lounging areas
-> Shared spaces: a shared garden, a modern lobby and reception, and premium common-area finishes throughout
-> Practical: dedicated parking and round-the-clock building services

The location

Al Shamkha is one of Abu Dhabi's fastest-growing residential districts, known for spacious, family-oriented communities and modern infrastructure. Being part of Aldar's wider Al Reeman masterplan gives residents parks, schools, retail and community facilities as the area matures.

The district has a quieter, suburban feel without being cut off from the city. Road links connect easily to Zayed International Airport, Masdar City, Khalifa City and the wider capital.

Who it suits

First-time buyers and young families looking for an accessible, well-specified home in a master-planned community.
Investors targeting rental demand from families and professionals moving to Abu Dhabi's growing suburbs.

The two-bedroom-plus-study units give the most flexibility and are likely to have the broadest appeal for both living and renting.
